Software Developer
About this role
We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and AI-powered software solutions. The successful candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle, from system design and API development to database integration, deployment, testing, and production support.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications. • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services. • Develop backend applications and automation using Python and/or other modern programming languages. • Build responsive, maintainable frontend interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Design, query, and optimize relational databases using SQL. • Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and AI/LLM APIs into production applications. • Develop AI-powered features including LLM integrations, automated workflows, prompt-based systems, and data processing pipelines. • Containerize applications and development environments using Docker. • Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, error handling, and secure API integrations. • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application reliability. • Debug and resolve application, API, database, and deployment issues. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture and development standards. • Use Git-based version control and collaborate through modern software development workflows. • Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and reliability. • Maintain technical documentation for APIs, systems, and development processes.
Technical Requirements
• Strong programming experience with Python and JavaScript. • Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts. • Experience building and consuming REST APIs. • Understanding of frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows. • Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development. • Understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and deployment practices. • Knowledge of web application architecture, data structures, and common software design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AI/LLM APIs, including OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, or similar platforms. • Experience developing AI-powered applications or integrating generative AI into existing products. • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. • Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment. • Experience with NoSQL databases or caching technologies such as Redis. • Understanding of authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT. • Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
